When
the DREAM Act failed to pass in Congress, President Obama took things into his
own hands via an Executive Order. This order gave way to the Deffered Action
for Childhood Arrivals Program which President Obama approved on June 15, 2012.
I support Obama. He did what is the right thing to do. It’s being long time since DREAM Act was first introduced in 2001. Numeric times it went through revisions but still some people are not happy about it. Probably this group is just opposing this act just because of they want to. If someone knows about this act's conditions and terms he would know how limited this act is to get the benefits that they are talking about. Actually we forget our days of struggle as soon as we become citizen. Come one people, we are talking about some young kid and their future who just want to study. We should support them so that they don't become criminals afterward by not getting this opportunity. We just cannot say that they are not our responsibility as their parent brought them here illegally.they are not going anywhere, so better fix this problem as soon as possible.
